Aleisha BLACK completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Canterbury in 2010 with a double major in Media Communications and Psychology. After graduating she lived in Auckland for four years, working as a Camera Assistant in the film industry. Her interests in media communications, history, psychology and film, influence the topics that she explores. Currently she is based back in her North Canterbury hometown. In August 2014 she held her debut photographic exhibition, Power, at the Rangiora Chamber Gallery. In 2015 she coordinated a World War One memorial mural that was painted on an 85m2 wall in Amberley on the 25th of September.
